While taking care of your skin is a long-term commitment which we always strive hard to incorporate into our everyday routine easily, there are still times when we have skin emergencies and we need a really fast solution!
For example, when you are getting too cozy during the holiday season, spoiling yourself with candies and late dinners, not to mention alcohol and night parties, and suddenly you get a call of duty: face close up photo shoot the next day O_O! That’s exactly what happened to me. So, I decided to share these skin emergency hacks with you to make your skin flawless, exposure-ready the next day.
First, let’s identify which face problems we are looking to improve:
- Under Eye Bags
- Uneven Skin Tone, Inflammation (I hate that one)
First of all, make sure you have a good night’s sleep. In Russia, we consider sleeping from 10pm to Midnight for Beauty, and Midnight ’til 6 am for Health! While you’re sleeping, your skin is working on moisturizing, creating new cells and fighting aging. Obviously, it’s super important to get as much sleep as possible if you want healthy skin!
- Under Eye Bags usually appear when your body’s water decreases, which in turn increase the salt concentration. This causes precious water to stay under your eyes. Watch out for salty food and try not to cry the day before. If bags are already happily chilling under your eyes, try these:
a) DRINK MORE WATER – Wash them out!
b) COLD COMPRESS FOR YOUR EYES – Cut cucumbers or wet a few teabags. Put them in the fridge for 5-10 minutes, then place them on your eyes. If you’re super lazy, place 2 metal spoons in a fridge for 10 minutes, then place them on your eyes, scoop down for 10 minutes.
c) To ensure positive results, I use YOUTH EXPRESS EYE GEL by Insta Naturals that has Aloe, Cucumber, Jojoba, Hyaluronic Acid and a bunch of other minerals that are extremely powerful in treating not just under-eye bags, but also eye wrinkles as well. :D
- Uneven Skin Tone, Partial Inflammation.
We can’t recover “baby skin”, but we can get pretty close.
a) LEMON JUICE: Lemon juice has a high level of citric acid. It balances well the skin’s pH level, the key to an even and lighter skin tone. Just apply lemon juice on your face for 5-7 minutes. Wash it off after. Don’t forget to moisturize the face!
Before you do this, make sure that you:
- Wash the lemon juice off before you expose your face to the sun. Otherwise, your skin will burn and get irritated!
- Watch out for open cuts or cracked skin on your face. Lemon juice can make them hurt.
b) When I don’t have time to deal with home remedies, I use OZ NATURALS. They contain a range of vitamins and minerals (Vitamins C, E, Rose Hips, Green Tea, Chamomile and more). This really works overnight! You skin tone will be noticeably smoother and brighter.
If you need to get rid of your pimples by tomorrow, then don’t eat anything that contains sugar today! Okay, coffee with one Life Health Bar in the morning is fine… So, let’s attack those greasy pink bastards:
a) ICE ATTACK. Ice can easily fights pimples by shrinking capillaries, minimizing the red spots and tightening your pores at the same time.
b) LEMON ATTACK. Lemon juice helps dry out pimples fast.
c) TOOTHPASTE ATTACK. If you use a plain white toothpaste without any stripes and add- ons, you may apply it on a pimple for 20 minutes to minimize its appearance on your face.
d) And I always carry with me my small tube of CLEAN & CLEAR ADVANTAGE in case of pimple emergency wherever I am :D
